ICMP is delighted to partner with the Association of Independent Music (AIM) to offer music industry placements to students from under-represented backgrounds.

This initiative is part of our commitment to supporting the next generation of talent in the music industry and will provide second-year ICMP students with practical professional experience at leading music industry companies.

Oli Tatler, ICMP's Careers & Employability Manager, said:

We are delighted to collaborate again with our partners at AIM to provide opportunities for ICMP students from a range of under-represented backgrounds."

"We hope this will give them the chance to develop their future careers by gaining practical professional experience relevant to their study and help play a part in helping to build a more diverse workforce within the industry."

The opportunities will be provided by AIM member businesses and will ensure students will be able to enjoy practical experience to help progress their careers.

AIM is an industry trade body representing the UK's independent music sector including self-releasing artists, distributors and indie labels.
