ICMP opens up facilities to London Performing Academy of Music

ICMP is delighted to have entered into a new partnership with the London Performing Academy of Music (LPMAM).

The LPMAM utilised ICMP’s facilities at our Queen’s Park campus to rehearse repertoire ahead of their performance at the Music and Drama Awards in London. 

ICMP alumnus Daniele Rauso performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Music for Youth Proms with the LPMAM Ukrainian Student Ensemble, conducted by LPMAM Principle, Dr Stefania Passamonte. 

LPMAM has a close relationship with Ukrainian music institutions, the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Kyiv and Kharkiv University of Arts. 

Commenting on the partnership Stefania said: "A huge thanks to our partner ICMP for lending their fantastic new venue in Queen's Park and their graduate student Daniele at the drums for our interview with London Live TV and the Music and Drama Awards." 

We are a classical conservatoire but our ethos is all about breaking the rules between genres and musical styles and enabling collaboration. We believe this ethos is shared with ICMP and the opportunities to bring our students together has been a great one."

Through its international network, LPMAM has so far brought 51 Ukrainian students to safety with 30 now currently studying in London.
