Jordan Shaw signs music publishing deal with Phrased Differently

Congratulations to BA Songwriting alumnus Jordan Shaw who has signed a music publishing deal with independent publishers Phrased Differently.

The Shoreditch-based company has worked with some of the best artists in pop including the likes of Ariana Grande, Calvin Harris,Kygo, Galantis, Kylie Minogue, Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus, Britney, Demi Lovato.

Jordan received careers advice and music industry guidance from our careers team in The Hub after being referred by Songwriting Programme Leader Jonathan Whiskerd.  

Jonathan said:

"Jordan has always demonstrated a fantastic work ethic. He has continually sought to work outside of his creative comfort zone to break new ground in his writing.

He has a great ability to subtly apply technique to his creative ideas, resulting in highly-crafted songs that don't sound 'overwritten' but just natural and sincere. This is gold dust in pop songwriting!"
