So we thought we’d help a little by highlighting a track each week from a selected ICMP artist who is already attracting industry attention and starting to make waves in the business, putting one of them under a Spotlight of our own.

'I Won’t Leave Your Bed Tonight' - Zozo
Zozo’s is a BA Songwriting alumna who has just released ‘I Won’t Leave Your Bed Tonight’, a new tune unleashed via Killing Moon and featuring ICMP tutor Paul Stanborough on mixing and mastering duties.
The Spanish-born singer-songwriter and producer grew up in in Catalunya, Spain, first encountering music as a youth through writing musical stories around the forests surrounding her home. At 18 Zozo then started writing songs using a guitar she purchased the day she completed her studies at school.
Her love for music saw her uprooting herself from her native Spain and moving to the UK to chase what she describes as an ‘obsession’ with songwriting. Since studying with us, Zozo has performed all over Brighton and London, perfecting a colourful ‘synth-dream pop’ sound drawing on the off-kilter talents of the likes of AURORA and Christine and the Queens as inspiration.
