Our Careers and Industry Hub actively support and nurture all the musical talent to pass through ICMP and are responsible for selecting our weekly #ICMPSpotlight artist.

This week they've chosen to shine it on the talents of our alumnus, singer songwriter Thomas Ashby.

ICMP SPOTLIGHT: 15TH JANUARY

‘LOOK UP' - THOMAS ASHBY

BA Songwriting alumnus Thomas Asby is a talented songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who counts Radiohead, John Martyn and Neil Young among his inspirations.

He released his debut album ‘Cache’ in 2016 with his great single 'Torn' championed by BBC Radio 2's Dermot O’Leary on his show.

Thomas has continued to attract plenty of plaudits with features on BBC Radio Kent as well as as performances at various London venues including our very own Live and Loud Festival last year.

The launch of his great new track, 'Look Up' was celebrated with a slot at Camden’s Spiritual Bar.
