Our Music Careers and Industry Hub actively support and nurture all the musical talent to pass through ICMP and are responsible for selecting our weekly #ICMPSpotlight artist.

This week they've chosen to shine it on our BA Songwriting student Daniel Jacklin and his debut single, 'Wine'.

Originally from Felixstowe, Suffolk, Daniel began his musical life playing his songs at venues around his home town and Ipswich before choosing to come to London to study songwriting with us at ICMP.

Taking his pointers from the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club and Catfish and the Bottlemen, Daniel has honed his craft on the stages of numerous London venues and has now unveiled his debut single, 'Wine'.

Produced by fellow songwriting student Louis Takooree, it points to a promising future for this bright musical spark.
