With so much amazing success, it’s hard to keep track of ICMP student and alumni achievements.
So to help, our team at The Hub is choosing a track each week from a selected ICMP artist or band from their network. Any artist who comes under the #ICMPSpotlight is one already attracting industry attention and starting to make some serious waves with music lovers and critics alike. Get in touch with The Hub via firstname.lastname@example.org to tip them off about any success stories you think we need to know about...
ICMP SPOTLIGHT: 31st October
'Follow The River' - Charlotte Eriksson, The Glass Child
Describing herself as a songwriter, author, dreamer and wanderer, Charlotte left her native Sweden when she was 18 to pursue a life as an artist. She sharpened her sound and songwriting craft over a year on the road, finding a fanbase by sharing her music and details of her journey online.
Fast forward to now and Charlotte is a hugely successful creator working as The Glass Child. She’s released six EPs, three full length albums and toured extensively through Europe, even writing three books and setting up her own publishing company, Broken Glass Records.
During her time at ICMP, she benefited advice from the team at The Hub, taking pointers on how to refine her sonic and artist identity
Her latest ‘Coming Home’ EP is her most recent work and she'll be joining River Matthews on his new tour this November.
