ICMP's Careers and Industry Hub will be widening its team with the addition of three new music industry coaches.

The new industry coaches - session musician Hannah Montrose, session vocalist Izzy Chase and music supervisor and composer Lizz Harman - will be available each month for students and alumni to book career and development sessions with.

James Brister, ICMP Industry Liaison Manager, said: "We're very pleased to be welcoming Hannah, Izzy and Lizz as industry coaches to complement the advice and support our team already provides."

Gaining the latest industry insight from professionals who are building success at the highest level gives our students and alumni a real advantage when they're looking to launch their own careers. We can't wait to welcome all three to the team."

Sessions will be offered to students on a first come, first served basis. They will be delivered remotely.

Known for her tight pocket grooves, Hannah Montrose is no stranger to the music community in the UK. In 2010 Hannah won a full scholarship to study drums at ICMP, then in 2017, she gained a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Performance from Westminster.

Throughout her career Hannah has performed on some of the biggest stages, including events such as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the 2012 London Olympics and The National Television Awards. Most recently she was seen on BBC Live Lounge and The Brit Awards on stage with US superstar Lizzo.

Hannah’s passion for helping and guiding younger musicians has also led her to work at Herts Music Centre.

Izzy Chase | Session Vocalist

Izzy Chase, currently backing singer for Dua Lipa, Ministry of Sound and Trevor Horn, has been singing professionally for over 10 years.

Although London based, Izzy has worked all over the world with artists like; Ellie Goulding, Beverley Knight, Seal, Craig David, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Kim Wilde and more. She not only works as a live backing singer but also a session vocalist on albums, adverts, vocal arrangements and features.

Lizz Harman | Music Supervisor

Since graduating from ICMP in 2016, Lizz spent the better part of 4 years working with various producers; writing and releasing music under her artist project, before diving into the world of sync in 2018.

After interning for an indie publisher she took a music consultancy job at one of the UK’s biggest catalogues of music produced specifically for media, where she placed tracks across campaigns for multiple global brands like Nike, Amazon, IKEA, Tesco, Mercedes & Samsung, plus TV series such as 'Giri/Haji' (BBC), 'Sex Education' (Netflix) and more.

She now finds herself as a creative music consultant at sonic branding and music supervision agency DLMDD, working with clients from top ad agencies and brands, spending her days digging for existing tracks, or working closely with composers to produce bespoke pieces of music for a variety of projects.
