Lucas Polo, BMus guitar graduate, will join the critically acclaimed Roxy Music guitarist and leading producer Phil Manzanera as part of his Sound of Blue Band for a series of concerts in Japan this summer, featuring dates in Tokyo and Osaka.
Aside from his tremendous success with Roxy Music, Phil has performed and co-produced with David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and worked with leading artists including Steve Winwood, John Cale and Brian Eno as well as releasing albums in his own right.
Lucas has been in Phil Manzanera's band for a few years, performing on stages all over the world, from Colombia to Italy.
Lucas regularly performs around London particularly as guitarist for contemporary 'alternative soul' band BURNZ, lead by BA Songwriting graduate Joe Bernie, who have appeared as part of Sofar Sounds, This Feeling, BBC Introducing and Roundhouse Rising.
