Singer, composer and ICMP alumna Chiara Dubey has released a new track, 'How to Save Myself'.

Chiara studied Vocals as part of ICMP's MMus in Popular Music Performance and has now unveiled the first piece of music from a forthcoming new album, 'Chandani'

The album follows live performances at Music on Ice and Isole Brissago alongside multiple songs featured in Spanish indie movie, 'Un Amor'

Commenting on her time at ICMP, Chiara said: "The years spent studying at ICMP were amongst the most exciting ones I remember. London is such an inspiring, vibrant place to be, especially for an artist, and if you are open and proactive enough, there are so many opportunities out there to be found."

When I first started at ICMP, I had a lot of knowledge about music and art, and I knew I wanted to build a career with my music, but I had no idea how."

"ICMP was the missing piece of the puzzle for me - I learned so much about how to 'navigate the music industry', how to present yourself, how to release music, how to network, how to find opportunities, and so much more."

It made me realise that - unless you are very lucky - being a good musician is just one of the prerequisites for building a sustainable artistic career, and ICMP helped me cover the missing ones. I would recommend it to any aspiring artist who wants to take control over their music career!"

Chiara has described the new single as exploring "a toxic place I've been, where I loved beyond my limits and gave all I had to offer to someone who didn’t see me, sacrificing self-worth for a grain of affection and approval, ending up drained of my light".
