At ICMP we are always keen to portray an authentic vision of the school within our marketing materials. As such we strive to use imagery, video, and testimonials from our students and alumni wherever possible.
We often capture material at events (gigs, showcases, masterclasses, etc) and on campus (photography, interviews, etc). This media captured comprises personal data and by this form we are seeking your consent for its use for the purposes outlined below.
For the purposes of the Data Protection Legislation (General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), ICMP is the organisation responsible for looking after your personal data (the “Data Controller”). We will process your personal data in accordance with GDPR and DPA and this notice explains how we will use media for marketing and promotional activities and the range of marketing channels ICMP may use. This includes, but is not limited to print and digital formats including:
- ICMP website and associated microsites (eg. My.ICMP)
- Direct mail and e-marketing
- Printed materials (eg. Prospectus, leaflets, banners, adverts, etc)
- Social media platforms (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc)
- Digital advertising (eg. via social media, Google Display Network, etc)
- Plasma screens and television displays within ICMP and hired event venues

Your rights
You have the right to request to see a copy of the information we hold about you and to request corrections or deletions of the information that is no longer required. You can ask ICMP to stop using your images, or associated media, at any time, in which case it will not be used in future publications but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation.
You have the right to lodge a complaint against ICMP regarding data protection issues with the Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk/concerns/).
