We are thrilled to be welcoming critically acclaimed American electronic music producer, drummer, artist and activist Madame Gandhi to ICMP.

Madame Gandhi is an artist whose mission is to celebrate gender liberation. She has toured drumming for M.I.A, Thievery Corporation and most recently Oprah Winfrey on her 2020 Vision Stadium Tour with morning dance party Daybreaker.

Growing up, Gandhi spent time in both New York City and Bombay, India. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Women’s Studies from Georgetown and an MBA from Harvard. She is a voting member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMY), has been listed as a Forbes 30 Under 30 member and is a 2020 TED Fellow.

Her mathy percussion, uplifting music and inspiring talks have been critically acclaimed by The New York Times, Billboard, NPR and more.

The event will present Madame Gandhi 'in conversation' with ICMP alumna Foxgluvv and is part of our EQ series (started earlier this year), where we have been discussing equality and diversity within the music industry.
