Bill Laurance is a Grammy Award-winning keyboard player, pianist, composer, producer, and arranger. Bill is also a tutor here at ICMP and he'll be giving an exclusive masterclass to our students.

Classically-trained but stylistically diverse, he has worked with Mercury Award-winning pop stars and major national ballet companies. Of his last solo album, 2016’s Aftersun, John Fordham in The Guardian wrote, “there’s no doubting Laurance’s creativity”.

Bill has been working professionally since the age of 14. Trained at the University of Leeds, he is a founder member of the highly acclaimed jazz ensemble Snarky Puppy, winners of two Grammy Awards with number one records in both the iTunes and Billboard Jazz charts.

All masterclasses are free of charge to ICMP students and we have many great guests visiting throughout the year.
