COURSE OVERVIEW

Our online Blues Guitar Styles 101 will take you from being stuck in a rut to playing in each of the six great blues styles with real confidence. How do we do this? With comprehensive video lessons, backing tracks, detailed notes and notation, supported by personalized feedback from an experienced ICMP blues guitar expert.

The course spends one week, or module, on each subject so you can learn the language, history, technique and rhythms for all six essential blues styles.  Each module focuses on two of the key players in each style giving you an in-depth stylistic analysis so you too can unlock the musical DNA of that style.

Once you have completed this step-by-step course, you too will know how to master the essential guitar styles including Chicago Blues, Texas Blues, West Coast Blues, Memphis Blues, Late Texas Blues and British Blues, bringing a whole new level of fun to your blues playing. It is a highly practical course and you will be assigned tasks to complete in each module.

The course author is Justin Sandercoe, a renown online guitar teacher whose video lessons have been watched over 58 million times.
