How many guests can I bring to the Awards Ceremony?

Each student can bring a maximum of 2 guests.

What if I want to bring more than 2 guests?

Due to capacity, we have allocated each graduate two guest tickets. Please contact for more information.

Where can I park if I need to drive to the Awards Ceremony?

We strongly encourage you to take public transport to the Ceremony, as there is very limited parking available nearby. Union Chapel itself doesn't have a car park but Blue Badge holders can park: on yellow lines where there are no loading restrictions for up to three hours, providing the clock card is displayed and set to your time of arrival. Please note anyone can park on single yellow lines from 6.30 pm onwards (unless there is an Arsenal Home Match) in resident bays, and pay and display bays for an unlimited time. There is a short stretch of single yellow lines at the front of the Chapel on Compton Terrace and more at the rear of the Chapel on Compton Avenue. There are many residents bays and some pay and display bays on Compton Terrace. There is also a public car park about a 15-minute walk away from Union Chapel which charges £2 per hour for parking, this can be found at Angel - Upper Street Car Park 52 Upper St, Angel, N1 0PW, London.

How can disabled guests obtain additional tickets for a carer?

Please email and we will make sure to accommodate any carers.

I can’t make it to the ceremony in person, will it be streamed online?

Yes, we will be streaming the entire Awards Ceremony live to our YouTube channel. We will add the link here and send it to you in an email the week before the ceremony.

Can I book a photo slot for the day of the Awards Ceremony?

Our official Awards photography company, Tempest, will be at our Awards Ceremony on the 9th of November, however, there will not be any booking taking place. Photos will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. We are offering a separate photo day which will take place at ICMP - it will have bookable time slots and are the only way to guarantee an Awards photo.

What should I wear to the Awards Ceremony?

The dress code for this event is smart/formal.

Will there be an event after the Awards Ceremony?

We will be hosting a drinks reception at Union Chapel after the ceremony. If you wish to continue the celebrations with your friends and families after this, we have compiled a list of local restaurants/bars that might interest you:

When is the photo day taking place?

Our official Awards photographers, Tempest, will be hosting a photo day. This will take place at ICMP on 6th November between 10 am and 5 pm - you can book a time slot here:

How many guests can I bring to the photo day?

You can bring up to five guests to be in the photos with you.

How do we book the University of East London Graduation ceremony?

The University of East London are the current validating body for some degrees at ICMP, therefore if you have been invited to attend their formal cap and gown graduation ceremony then this will take place on 25th November at 12:30pm at the Excel Centre.
