Alumni Awards 2021

We're proud of all our graduates as they go on and build careers within the music and creative industries and beyond.

ICMP’s Careers and Industry Hub is now setting up these new awards to recognise the achievements in three areas, judged by a panel of external industry guests.

A prize of £500 will be awarded to the winners of each award.

Recognising the alumni who has made a positive impact on the wider community.

Recognising the alumni who has made a significant impact in their chosen profession. 

Recognising the alumni who has identified creative solutions within their chosen profession.

ICMP reserves the right to make a final decision on any individual’s eligibility for the awards. The nominator must complete the application form to nominate their nominee. All nominations will be treated as confidential when provided to the judging panel. Nominations will not be considered after the deadline.

Nomination process:

• The nominator must complete the application form to identify the qualities and contributions that make the nominee a worthy recipient of an award. 
• The application form should demonstrate how the nominee’s contribution has made a difference and why they are worthy of special recognition for the award using the criteria stated for each award. 

Entries will be judged against the criteria stated in the award description and evidence given in the application form .

A judging panel of external industry representatives will select the winners. 

Eligibility:

• Alumni must have completed a full-time course of study at ICMP (HDip, BA or MA level)
• Alumni can apply for awards and nominate themselves.
• Alumni can be nominated for more than one award but separate application forms must be completed for each award they are being nominated for.
• Current students, alumni, current staff and tutors can nominate alumni for awards.
• Alumni who are currently employees of ICMP are not eligible to be nominated but they can nominate other alumni.
