Teaching

On weekdays, the space is used to host live performance workshops and live sound engineering classes. Additionally, our BA (Hons) Live Event Management students utilise the venue to host their own events, gaining practical experience that contributes to their coursework.

The latest recording technology from Dante

We’ve invested over £20k fitting out our Queen’s Park campus with Dante, a system that allows you to record from our stage directly into any of our state-of-the-art recording studios.

Dante is the evolution of AV systems, converging all previous connection types into one. Performance is second to none: all Dante audio is 100% lossless 24- or 32-bit, and sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz are supported.

london-student-meal-deal.jpgStudent Café

Adjoining our Live Music Venue is our buzzing student café. A comfortable well lit space affording students a place to relax, socialised and refuel. An array of drinks are available including artisan coffee, independently roasted in London. Our café also offers a selection of homemade organic produce, with a competitively priced menu that changes daily. Given the increases in the cost of living, we offer daily ‘meal deals’ in line with supermarket prices, these include the likes of toasties and organic soups.

Venue Tech Spec

As with all ICMP facilities, our venue is equipped with only the best equipment, comparable to what you'd find in reputable small to medium-sized venues. You’ll find an incredible Allen & Heath Avantis 64 channel desk (fitted in 2023), along with a JBL PA, powered by Crown amps and monitors.

On stage you can power yourself or your band with amps, mics and instruments available from our extensive range of well-maintained hire equipment, all available free of charge to ICMP students.
