We were delighted to welcome more than 100 students to ICMP for our fortnight of Summer Schools.
Studying Music Production, Performance and Songwriting, our students took part in a week of classes with ICMP tutors exploring musical techniques, the creative process and much, much more.
Leading songwriting and ICMP tutor Gerard O'Connell also led a masterclass, divulging his songwriting secrets of working with some of pop music's leading stars including Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.
Each week culminated with an afternoon of live performances from the students in front of family and friends.
Scott Colcombe, Part Time Course Coordinator, said:
It was honestly so heart warming to see communities of songwriters, producers and performers develop over these two weeks, pushing themselves day in and day out. Hopefully we'll get to see their creative partnerships flourish even after the Summer School is over.'
