The next London Music Weekend will take place on 30th November until 3rd December offering performance and networking opportunities for aspiring musicians, songwriters and performers.
The most recent event in April saw participants taught by the likes of Erika Footman, Ace from Skunk Anansie and Amy Winehouse bassist Dale Davis. There were also opportunities for live performance and networking between students.
Commenting, organiser Luca Pellizaro said:
I’m really happy to work with ICMP as a partner and I’m always thankful to ICMP's David Howell for giving me the chance to run the London Music Weekend in collaboration with the school over the last three years."
The weekend will see attendees taking part in a number of workshops and classes at ICMP as well as perform in a concert held at Putney's Half Moon on Saturday 2nd December.
The London Music Weekend is an extension of the partnership between ICMP and Italian music school Altramusica.
In July, as part of the partnership, a group of ICMP students from the BA Songwriting course - Eduardo ZoSo Giusto, Namugga, Helena Cate, Bronte Clare, Ellie Grace, Diamantina and Tessa MacGibbon - visited Italy to play and meet like-minded musicians and artists from the Italian institution.
