A wealth of ICMP talent including up and coming indie band, The Trusted, electro pop diva Foxgluvv and singer songwriter Emma Moore were among the artists to perform at our brilliant Freshers Showcase.

Held at Islington London’s O2 Academy, the now legendary annual event saw a whole host of ICMP affiliated acts both old and new grace the stage.

The line-up of ICMP students and alumni was selected by our music industry team, The Careers and Industry Hub, with the help of Polydor A&R Craig Shardlow. New and current students alongside alumni were invited to applying to play with a record-breaking number making submissions.

Emma Moore, Masters in Songwriting student, said:

The Freshers Showcase was an incredible way to start my year at ICMP, and a huge confident boost to be selected to play. There's such an array of talent here so to be apart of that line up was an honour, and a great reminder of what we're all here to work towards."

Laura Goldthorpe, a fellow Masters in Songwriting student, added:

It was amazing to play such a renowned venue and see such a diverse range of ICMP artists and the projects they’ve been working on, the whole night was really inspiring and a great introduction to the ICMP community."

Thanks to all the performers and attendees. The line up included:
