With the end of June fast approaching, and the summer festival season in full swing, ICMP alumni and current students have already hit the road and performing at some of the UK's most popular festival. Over the last four weekends, our students and alumni have played at some world renowned festival, and we are pleased to bring you some highlights of those performances.

  • The Carnabys (featuring alumni Jack Mercer and Ben Gittins) have been playing a collection festivals around the UK in June, with performances at Camden Rocks and Isle of Wight being particular highlights for them. Their upcoming album is being released on the 19th of August, and more tour dates will follow.
  • ICMP drum student Gabi King has spent June touring with upcoming artist Declan Mckenna in his band. She has been performing at The Great Escape, BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend and Glastonbury with Declan. Her high profile upcoming shows include Latitude Festival and Standon Calling in the UK and Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco in August.
  • ICMP band Daughter, which features Songwriting alumni Elena Tonra, Igor Haefili and BMus drumming alumnus Remi Aguilella, have spent all of June touring both the United States and Europe playing festivals like Bonnaroo in the US and Glastonbury in the UK. Some of their upcoming performances will be at Longitude (Dublin), Latitude (Suffolk) and Lollapalooza (Chicago).
