ICMP is delighted to be hosting an exclusive masterclass with Eddy Thrower.

Eddy is an acclaimed international touring and session professional, and is drummer for ‘Lower than Atlantis’, the most played UK rock band at BBC Radio 1 with two top-40 albums under their belts and the biggest- selling rock single of 2015.

Eddy already has to his name 6 sold-out UK tours, and has made festival appearances including Reading and Leeds, Download, Sonisphere, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Graspop Festival and many more. He has toured internationally in Japan, Australia, Europe, America, Canada and Scandinavia; his recording session credits include artists such as ‘One Direction’ and ‘5 Seconds Of Summer’; other artists he has worked and toured with include ‘Blink 182’, ‘All Time Low’, ‘Linkin Park’ and ‘You Me At Six’; and he has featured music on games such as Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero.

With such amazing and diverse achievements, Eddy’s appearance at ICMP will be a fantastic opportunity for ICMP students to listen to the playing and performing skills of one of the most accomplished musicians of current times. During the masterclass they will have opportunity to engage in conversation with Eddy as he shares his knowledge and experience of how to build such a successful and diverse career in music.
