The beating heart of our Songwriting community moves online.

After our successful first Online Songwriters' Circle with the performances of our tutors we are now back with a special event.

The second online version of our iconic Songwriters' Circles will see the performances of our Head of Undergraduate and former BA Songwriting Programme Leader Jonathan Whiskerd and our student president Sully Gravity. They will be joined by our great Vocal Tutor Barbara Amoakohene and ICMP alumnus Adam Gillian.

Adam is an actor, musician and songwriter hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Since leaving ICMP in 2017, Adam has released music with two original projects, indie-rock outfit Canto Falls and folk-pop act Mondegreen Trio as well as writing with other artists; he has also worked with the incredible Anaïs Mitchell during his time at the National Theatre with Tony-award winning musical 'Hadestown', understudying the lead role of Orpheus. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, Adam was performing in the Olivier and Tony award-winning musical 'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical' as Gerry Goffin, Carole's husband and songwriting partner and one of the most iconic writers of his time.

They will present some of their fantastic Songwriting work, share the stories behind the songs and will bring it directly into your living room through our ICMP London Facebook page and YouTube channel. Join us for this unique experience.

This event is part of our EQ series (started earlier this year), where we are discussing equality and diversity within the music industry.
