This interactive Q+A, organised by ICMP's Careers and Industry Team, offers students and alumni the opportunity to learn how to build a strategy around their live performance.

The session will feature various leading industry professionals, who will be on-hand to discuss all aspects of gigging. From starting out with your first shows, through to how to gain those coveted support slots with named artists.

Jess Kinn – Booking Agent, Coda
Jess Kinn started working in PR before starting at music booking agency The Leighton Pope Organisation with acts such as Michael Buble and Bryan Adams. After this, she joined Coda Agency representing acts such as The Age of L.U.N.A, Bree Runway, Lowes, ARK, whilst also working across a larger roster of acts that include Shawn Mendes, Halsey, Faithless, Milky Chance, Zak Abel and Billie Marten

Joe Schiavon - Promoter, LiveNation
Joe is a national concert promoter based in London and works for Live Nation. He has promoted concerts all over the UK, and worked with acts including: Mumford and Sons, Two Door Cinema Club, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Bastille, George Ezra, Frank Turner, Hot Chip, Foals, Royal Blood, The Vamps, The Maccabees and many more. He also works on the booking for a number of festivals, as well as private consultancy and brand events. He's also spoken on panels about live music at events including BigSound (Australia), Nouvelle Prague, Live at Leeds and Birmingham Music Week.

Alex Katter - Managing Director, Gravity Management
Alex is co-founder and MD of Gravity Management (The Amazons, Oli Fox, Dan D'Lion) which represents artists, writers and producers internationally. Previously he was Artist Manager at Twenty First Artists (Universal Music/LiveNation)
