Alice Beal – Virgin/EMI Records Marketing Manager
In 2007 Alice started at Island Records as an A&R Assistant and PA to the president to the label; 3 years later she’d figured out that marketing was what she wanted to do. She took a brand marketing job at Ministry of Sound, followed by a marketing role at Polydor Records where she worked across campaigns for Cheryl, Lady Gaga and Take That. Now Alice is Marketing Manager at Virgin/EMI where she handles UK marketing for James Bay, Ella Eyre, Banks, Avicii, Tiesto, Martin Garrix amongst others.
Francesca Hughes – Universal Records International Marketing Manager
Francesca began working at Universal in 2008 as an assistant to the S.V.P. of International Marketing as part of UMGI’s internship programme. Following this she moved into the international marketing team as a marketing assistant, moving onto product manager and her current role, Marketing Manager in 2013. Over the years Francesca has worked across a number of labels and repertoire including Big Machine Records (Taylor Swift), Disney Music Group/Hollywood Records (Selena Gomez), Universal Nashville Labels (Lady Antebellum, Kacey Musgraves), and locally signed international repertoire (Seinabo Sey) amongst others.
Alex Sayers – Virgin/EMI Records Marketing Manager
Alex started at Virgin Records in 2009 as A&R Assistant and PA to the President of the label, following a short run of various internships within the world of music. 18 months later Alex decided to move over to marketing and assisted across the campaigns for Emeli Sande, Katy Perry & Bastille. Now Alex is a Marketing Manager at Virgin/EMI, handling the UK marketing and projects for Lorde, Kiesza, Gorgon City, Wilkinson, Route 94 amongst others.
