For Learn To Play Day 2014, The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance will be partnering with Wembley Music Centre to offer free music lessons to anyone of any age and ability wishing to try out a new instrument.
Come along and get involved:
- Sessions in guitar, bass, drums and vocals with some of the Institute's highly experienced tutors
- Student and tutor performances
- Tutor demonstrations
- Special LTPD discounts in the store - Discounted part-time course fees at Institute
- A charity raffle to raise money for Music For All. Prizes include a part-time course, and instruments and gear at WMC.
The Institute is the perfect place for your first introduction to a musical instrument so this is a great opportunity to get a taster of what it has to offer, whilst WMC incorporates four specialist stores under one roof, covering guitar, keyboards, PAs, drums and percussion, so you can find everything you need to get started in one place.

National Learn to Play Day, was set up by Music for All; and is run in partnership with the Musicians Union, MusicTeachers.co.uk, Art’s Council England, Take it Away and MusicRadar.com, an initiative to encourage more people to take up an instrument, by allowing people of any age to engage in a free music lesson.
