Experience what life is like as an ICMP Undergraduate Student, with a series of practical workshops led by Programme Leader for BMUS in Popular Music Performance, Ben Jones.

What to expect from the event

Our interactive Experience Day will give you an insight into how we approach music performance at ICMP. You'll pick up some great insight and advice around stagecraft, musicality, and what to expect from our BMus (Hons) Popular Music Performance degree and one-year Cert HE Music Performance courses.

Reflection and analysis are the cornerstones of a modern professional musician's practice and are fundamental for personal development. This experience day will provide you with an opportunity to begin to develop your own critical understanding of performance practice and how it can feed into improving your own performances. You will be taking part in Style Study workshops to hone your skills in a particular genre, before taking the stage in a Live Performance Workshop where it all comes together.

This event is unique to ICMP and will you an idea of what life as a university student is like.

Our Admissions Team is also available if you'd like help with taking your enquiry further.
