We are very excited to bring you 'Music, I thought you loved me', an interactive seminar by ICMP tutor and Musical Director Jon Shone.

Jon Shone is a mentor and coach with a deep understanding of psychology and anthropology. His career as a live music consultant and musician lead him to working with the worlds biggest band, One Direction. After five years of hedonistic adoration, Jon suffered extreme burnout, addiction problems and mental health trauma.

After healing from the inside out, In 2017 Jon co-founded creative mentoring company Alta, which coach personal resilience in creative industries.

In this honest yet empowering seminar, Jon invites you to ask yourself this question - What is the real relationship you have with music? And how can we remain healthy and loving in it for the duration of our careers?

By investigating what drives us as individuals to be in an industry of high volatility, we can better understand this relationship dynamic. In return we can then learn how to protect ourselves against being hurt by the very thing that we love most.
