The third of four 'In Conversation' sessions that Stormzy Bassist Levi Yarde will host with ICMP. In these sessions Levi will speak to highly profiled musicians about their way and their experiences.

This event will show him in Conversation with his brother Iziah Yarde. Iziah’s passion for music stems from his beginnings as a drummer; this arose from him playing pots and pans in his Grandmother’s kitchen at a young age. His opportunity to develop came through his local church, however, due to lack of keyboardists, he transitioned into playing keyboards to help out and in later years took an interest in playing the Hammond Organ. Today he is in high demand as a Keyboardist, Programmer and Musical Director. The last years have seen him working with the likes of Stormzy, Gabrielle, All Saints, Jess Glynne, Lizzo or Little Simz.

Levi started working as a session musician around the age of early 17 while he was still studying at college. He is a touring musician working with some of the top artists in the country. He currently works with Emeli Sande and Stormzy, while in the past he has worked with Santan Dave, Melanie C, Fleur East, Not3s, SteffLon Don and many others. Levi recently took part in Emeli Sande's 'Real Life' tour around Europe.

The two will speak about their experience as brothers in the music industry and Iziah will share some insights on how to work with stems and programme a show.

This event is part of our EQ series (started earlier this year), where we have been discussing equality and diversity within the music industry.
