This will be the fourth 'How To Research' event, perfect for dissertation research, whilst open to all students.

We will be talking to Nigel Lipton about how to research the music business.

Nigel Lipton is a solicitor, law lecturer, writer, and occasional radio broadcaster. Nigel is the author of the book Music: The Law and Music Contracts (originally published by CLT Professional Publishing). He has lectured in media, entertainment, and intellectual property law at various institutions, including Regents’ College in London (now Regents’ University) and The College of Law in London (now The University of Law), where he was a senior lecturer and branch head of the media, entertainment, and intellectual property law option on The Legal Practice Course.

Nigel has also written articles for the legal press, is co-author of Privacy and Personality Rights: Commercial Exploitation and Protection (Jordan Publishing) and has considerable broadcasting experience on both national and local radio.
