We're delighted to welcome a member of 'British broadcasting royalty', Bob Harris, to ICMP for an evening of conversation, music and more.

Who is Bob Harris?

Bob has enjoyed a career spanning more than 40 years in the business.  Known as 'Whispering Bob Harris', Bob is perhaps best known for hosting BBC 2's Music Programme 'The Old Grey Whistle Test'. The show featured brilliant live performances from the likes of Bob Marley and The Wailers, Judas Priest and the New York Dolls.

He's continued to work in broadcasting ever since, hosting popular music shows across the BBC and was awarded with an OBE for services to music broadcasting in 2011.

Described by 'Radio Times' as ‘one of the greats of British contemporary music broadcasting and an independent champion of great music’, Bob continues to be at the centre of the British music industry."

He currently presents programmes such as 'Bob Harris Country’ and ‘Bob Harris Sunday’ on BBC Radio 2.

Our event
