We recently hosted the second of our regular monthly showcase events featuring up-and-coming ICMP students performing stripped-back acoustic sets in a laid-back setting in the heart of trendy Camden.

About the Sunday Sessions

Sunday sessions at BOHO Camden are live music monthly showcase events, open to all, featuring talented students and graduates from ICMP’s Songwriting Degree and other music degree courses. They feature artists performing stripped-back acoustic sets in a fantastic, laid-back venue in the heart of trendy Camden, London.

Who performed

  • Arran George 
    Originally from Cumbria, Arran is a multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter currently studying as part of our BASW course.  He can be found performing around London and has previously has songs played on BBC Introducing in Cumbria.
  • Cristina Llull
    Current BASW student Cristina has previously played across venues in London, including a recent feature slot for Hot Vox at Nido Collection and is one of the finalists for the ICMP-ATLA Songwriting Competition 2017.  She recently featured on Hilow’s track ‘Fell In Love With You’, which has over 700 thousand streams on Spotify.
  • Bambie
    Originally from France, Bambie (aka current BASW student Marie Straub) plays regularly at venues around London and released her first EP, ‘Tired Eyes’ in January 2017.
  • Alex Barty-King
    Alex has released two EPs - ‘Drawing Thigns’ and ‘Home’ – and is currently studying as part of our BASW programme.
  • Thomas Ashby
    Kent native and final year BASW student Thomas has previously played at venues in London and festivals around the UK and recently released his debut album ‘Cache’ 

How do I get involved?

​These events are free to attend and open to all., just turn up on the day for great live music in a great venue! What better way to spend a relaxed Sunday evening?

Nice intimate venue with great vibes – I really enjoyed playing here.  I'm very grateful to ICMP for putting on nights like this - it really helps in building stage confidence and introduces students onto the London gigging circuit in a really supportive environment. Thank you ICMP!
