Paul Scott has played bass guitar and double bass professionally for over thirty eight years. He has worked with award-winning artists with dozens of major hits to their name.

Paul has been touring in the UK for the past twenty years with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. He has also played professionally with Burt Bacharach, Billy Eckstine, Jimmy Witherspoon, Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Jamie Cullum, and in several West End shows. He was Music Editor of Bassist magazine from its inception in 1994 to 2000. From 1995 to 2004, he was also Technical Review Editor of Musician, the journal of the Musicians’ Union.

Current sessions include jazz, big band ,and gospel recordings, as well as sessions for the BBC.
Paul is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
