Chris Newland is a guitarist and music educator with over twenty years’ experience playing and teaching at the highest professional level. Born in Massachusetts, U.S.A., Chris has been a highly sought-after player ever since moving to London in 1992.

In a star-studded career, he has also played with such artists as Sister Sledge, Mick Ronson, Ronnie Wood, Maceo Parker, Stevie Wonder, Duane Eddy, Seasick Steve, Ward Thomas, Imelda May, Karen Elson, Joss Stone, and Quincy Jones. He taught guitar privately to Courtney Love and Madonna before coming to the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.
Chris has recorded several solo albums and performed with songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols. He specialises in performance techniques and MD skills.
