If you’d like to study music in London at ICMP next September, then you'll need to start thinking about submitting your UCAS application soon.  The deadline for degree applications is 6pm Monday 15th January 2018.

Applying before January 15th will guarantee you get equal consideration for a place at ICMP along with all other 'on-time' applicants. Applications that are received after January 15th will only be considered after all the 'on-time' applications have been processed. We pride ourselves on our small class sizes and the high number of teaching hours and one-to-one support we're able to offer students, as such places are limited at ICMP so we recommend you get your application in on time.

How does the UCAS Application system work?

To apply to study at ICMP through UCAS, you'll first need to register at ucas.com, when you apply through UCAS you’ll be asked to submit up to five options for the courses that you’d like to study. All ICMP courses are listed on the UCAS website along with the course and campus codes that you'll need to use on your application -  UCAS course codes can also be found on course pages here on our website.

What to include in your UCAS application

You will need to include the following on your UCAS application:

  • A full list of all your academic achievements, including any qualifications you may currently be studying
  • A Personal Statement (maximum of 4,000 characters)
  • A reference from either a teacher, tutor or employer

For further information relating to UCAS application, and writing your personal statement, we recommend you visit the UCAS website where you'll find a wealth of resources and advice.

What happens after I've applied?

Once your UCAS application has been received, we’ll invite you in for an audition/assessment. After your audition, one of our Admissions Advisors will speak with you about your audition so that you can get some instant feedback on how you performed, and find out what happens next.

If your audition/assessment is successful, you’ll either be provided with a ‘conditional offer’ (pending until we receive your exam results) or an ‘unconditional offer’ (you’ve met the entry criteria for the course and don’t need to supply any additional information). Offers will be announced via UCAS’s ‘Track’ facility.

Need help?

If you need help completing your UCAS application, or have questions about the process, please contact our Admissions Team on 020 7328 0222 or enquiries@icmp.ac.uk who will be happy to help.
